Birthday Week Giveaway Party!

We made it!




The birthday celebrations this week have been rockin', and we're finally at the weekend! And to kick off the weekend, I have one more giveaway to share!

But before we get to that, I first want to thank you all who have been wishing me a happy birthday this week! It means so much that all of you -- both old readers and new ones that have found me this week -- were here to celebrate with me. And I'm excited to share another year with you all!

Ok, enough stalling...

    On my birthday last year, my husband (as of Sunday) asked me to marry him. Technically, the gift was the ring, but I would have been happy with just the suggestion of marriage. Hands down, best birthday ever!

    The best birthday gift I ever received...my mom would swear it was when I got a lite-brite. I was screaming and jumping with joy upon opening it.
    This past birthday was pretty wonderful. my husband took me out to a fancy restaurant on a whim. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out, which is always the best gift any day.

    Best birthday gift I ever got was meeting my biological mom & half-brother! My parents flew them out here on my 18th birthday. Definitely the best Birthday present ever!

    Thats tough - my best birthday gift was watching my little ones make me breakfast on their own last year, toast with PB! They were s proud of themselves.

    The best birthday present I ever got was when I flew down to LA to celebrate with my best girl friend thinking I would just have a quiet weekend hanging out with her, but I had no idea that all my friends from northern CA and in LA all came to surprise me! We all had an amazing weekend together eating good food & shopping!

    The Best birthday present? Would be hard to pick, last year I received a drawer system on wheels to hold my some of my hobby supplies, and a handmade card from my daughter.

    My best birthday gift was a text massage from a NEW friend. "You are the kind of friend everyone wants but can never find." How sweet is that. AND my birthday is on Valentines day so there was some pretty good competition. The best part is she didn't even know it was my birthday! AND we had just had our first pre-school playdate at her house, where I had given her a bunch of design on a dime tips from blogland. Like drop cloth curtains. It's the little things that get me I guess!

    My best birthday gift ever was when my hubby flew me out to Vegas (he was there for a training course at Nellis AFB) to spend the week with him, and we did a "Couple's Day" at Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venice.

    Best birthday gift ever... was a phone call I recieved from a friend last year. She may not know... but I was going through a rough time... and we are long distance friends. She called and left me a voice mail, it made me laugh... cry... and be greatful for her friendship. When I am having a tough day... I still listen to it on occasion!

    The one stupendous gift I got was from my now adult son (ok, he was 18) two years ago. A digital camera, which I love and have used many times. Not only do I love it, but it was probably the only gift I ever got that came from the heart, and not from any sense of obligation. It was truly a surprise and a delight.
